School Meals
Meals served at this school are cooked on the premises. It is important that dinner money is sent into school, for the week, on Monday morning.
The cost is currently £2.53 per day (£12.65 per week). Please send this in a named purse or envelope. Alternatively, dinner money may be paid half-termly or termly in advance - please ask at the school office for more details.
Please make dinner money cheques payable to Suffolk County Council.
Our menus are based on the Mini choice system, which offers a choice of 2 Main courses or a salad every day, and a choice of yoghurt or fresh fruit in addition to the dessert of the day.
A menu is sent home termly.
Free meals are available to all children in Reception and Key Stage 1 (Year 1 and 2). Parents and Carers of children in Key Stage 2 can see if they are also eligible for FSM.

Children whose parents do not wish them to have a school meal may bring a packed lunch which will be eaten in the dining area. If you wish to send a cold drink, please ensure that it is in an unbreakable container. We encourage all children to have a healthy diet so we recommend that lunch boxes contain a balance of sandwiches, raw vegetables/fruit, yogurt and a ‘treat’ such as a piece of cake/ biscuit/ cereal bar.
We do NOT allow sweets or fizzy drinks.
Parents and grandparents are invited into school to eat a school dinner with their children on special occasions such as Mothers and Fathers Day.
